Photo’s from China – Hot in Shanghai, Cold in Beijing and Chinesepod

What is this? I have settled on a simple experiment: I will capture various events with my mobile, but digest these photo’s to a weekly update. The frequency is important to me because I don’t want to broadcast a constant flow of single pictures. In sets however, I think they might be more meaninful to me. Beijing

In Beijing for the day

Mid of last week, we spent a day in Beijng for business. We were furtunate enough to see Beijing’s touristic attractions in a winter setting for the first time! I’m laughing in the picture, but had to get used to the cold. It was -20˚C at night. Chilly!

Just seven days later

It got hot in Shanghai. To think it’s just a few hour flight – today the temperature reached up to 18 degrees C.

I’m a big fan of Chinesepod,
I learned a lot of basics by listening to Jenny and John going over Chinese practical subjects. Today I got to meet the host of the show Jenny.

Joop, what’s Jenny like? I’m going to recommend her onto a friend, which is basically an extension of me, if you follow what I mean. Will you be posting some of your interview notes with her here?
